Blues Rocker, Sean Chambers To Release New Album ‘Live From Daryl’s House Club’ featuring the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section

‘Live From Daryl’s House Club’ by Sean Chambers is set to release February 28th via Quarto Valley Records.

“I’m really excited about Live From Daryl’s House Club that we recorded last May, 2024 at the famous venue owned by Daryl Hall,” says Chambers. “The band was on fire, the crowd was lively, and they made us feel right at home. It was an electric night full of energy for sure!”

“I hope people enjoy listening to the new live album as much as we enjoyed recording it,” adds Sean. “The material on Live From Daryl’s House Club features songs from my past albums, as well as a few carefully-chosen Savoy Brown songs the band and myself enjoy playing. I thoroughly enjoy performing with Pat and Garnet from the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section and am honored to have them in the band. We have a great chemistry together on, and off stage. I think that will shine through when people hear the music.” From the opening refrains of the blistering blues-rock boogie track “Cobra,” Live From Daryl’s House Club features guitar maestro Chambers and band at their very best.

Sean Chambers and the members from Savoy Brown all became friends after playing a festival together in 2019. Fast forward to 2023: shortly after the unfortunate passing of Savoy Brown’s founder and leader, Kim Simmonds, renowned guitarist and songwriter Sean Chambers teamed up with the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section consisting of Pat De Salvo on bass and Garnet Grimm on drums. Being that Savoy Brown and Chambers are on the same record label together, Quarto Valley Records, this change made sense and felt right to all three musicians. Kim Simmonds was in full support and gave the three his blessings shortly before his passing in December of 2022.

With the release of ‘Live From Daryl’s House Club,’ these three accomplished musicians have come together to create what is undeniably one of the most entertaining and powerful musical trios on the scene today! Sean Chambers, along with Pat De Salvo and Garnet Grimm, continue to tour together throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Florida-born Sean Chambers began his career in the Blues back in 1998 when he toured with the legendary Hubert Sumlin as his guitarist and band leader until 2003. During Sean’s tenure with Mr. Sumlin, Britain’s Guitarist Magazine named Chambers as “One of the Top 50 Blues Guitarists of the Last Century.”

In 2009, Chambers released critically-acclaimed album, ‘Ten Til Midnight,’ which garnered rave reviews and appeared on the Living Blues chart the first three months after its release. The title cut was featured on “The House of Blues Radio Hour” as a “Blues Breaker;” and the album also generated significant airplay on Sirius/XM Radio’s blues channel as a “Pick to Click.”

Chambers released ‘Live from the Long Island Blues Warehouse’ in 2011, featured 10 tracks of mostly originals, along with Sean’s distinctively searing takes on “Full Moon on Main Street,” a highlight song from an early album by The Kinsey Report; as well as a blistering version of Elmore James’ “Dust My Broom,” which recalls Johnny Winter in its approach. Live from the Long Island Blues Warehouse appeared on BB King’s Bluesville XM/Sirius Blues Charts as a “Pick to Click” for six consecutive weeks The album was voted “Best Live Blues Album of 2011” by Canada’s Blues Underground Network. Guitar Player Magazine profiled Sean early in 2012, as did Vintage Guitar Magazine.

In October 2013, Sean released ‘The Rock House Sessions,’ on Blue Heat Records. It was nominated for a 2014 Blues Blast Music Award. In 2017 Sean released his sixth album ‘Trouble & Whiskey’ on American Showplace Music. ‘Trouble & Whiskey’ reached #11 on The Billboard Blues Chart and #7 on the Living Blues Charts during the first week of it’s release.

Sean released his seventh album, ‘Welcome To My Blues,’ in October 2018, also on American Showplace Music, which reached #9 on the Billboard Blues chart in its first week of release, and was also nominated for a Blues Blast Music Award. Both albums were produced by the late Ben Elliott, who has recorded classic artists such as Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Billy Gibbons, and Steve Miller among others.

Fast forward to 2020; Chambers records his eighth album ‘That’s What I’m Talkin About,’ a tribute to his mentor, the late, great Hubert Sumlin, which was released in 2021 on the Quarto Valley Records, Sean’s label ever since. ‘That’s What I’m Talking About’ reached the Top Ten on the Billboard Blues Charts and received great accolades and rave reviews around the globe.
