FuZZrd Presents New Video and Single ‘Kicked In’
FuZZrd present a brand-new recording titled “Kicked In.” The band has also presented a new lyric video that exhibits the most compelling imagery they’ve presented within this medium to date.
Guitarist Eric Fairchild shares, “This was a fun one to collaborate with Brett on. Lots of banging riffs, and some cool imagery in the lyrics. Plus, that guitar solo… sometimes you just gotta grab one note and lose your mind.” Drummer Scott Savage offers, “This one is a pounder! The first riff pretty much sets the tone for whole song. Kicks in pounding and never stops. By the end you feel like you’ve had an adrenaline shot!“ Bassist Robert Berg adds, “Monster riff. Driving tempo. Big chorus. ‘Kicked In’ has become an instant live favorite of mine.”

Since the band released its new repertoire, singer and guitarist Brett Petrusek has been to hell and back. He suffered a traumatic injury that placed him in the hospital. The severe injury triggered months of rehabilitation, but inevitably he’s back, healthy and ready to take on the next chapter of the band’s career. He states, “Sometimes life has a way of dishing it out. ‘Kicked In’ is a response to a seemingly never-ending series of unfortunate events… all wrapped up with a near death experience. When you’re struggling through tough times, it’s important to remember that things will change. If you power through it, you’ll likely find your inner strength and prevail. Then you’ll come to realize that it’s the little things in life that are truly most important. I hope our fans love the new recording and accompanying video. This one captures the energy we always strive to deliver.”
