Ghost Hounds Release New Single ‘Make it Shake’
Blues rockers the Ghost Hounds release their new single “Make It Shake” from their upcoming album out this summer. It’s the perfect summer anthem complete with the band’s signature guitar riffs and killer vocals from lead singer Tré Nation, who Rock and Blues Muse describes as having “uncompromising swagger” and a “gritty, soulful voice.”
“Make It Shake” is hard-charging guitar rock done right. The track sits on a driving, uptempo beat that’s an instant fist-pumper and gives frontman-for-the-ages Tre’ Nation and the guitar team of Thomas Tull and Johnny Baab all the room they need to blow out every window in town. Ghost Hounds are unquestionably building their legend one release at a time and are one of the few modern acts to pack the same fire and glory as the Old Masters. If you love rock and roll of the most genuine kind, crank this one up and feel its power.

The band has already toured with several legendary acts including The Rolling Stones, Garth Brooks, Bob Seger, and ZZ Top. During their time on the road, they have been described as “the new generation of rock n’ roll” by Chattanoogan.com, and Classic Rock Magazine described their sound as blending “blues, soul, hard rock and country with the effortless swagger of southern rock masters.” They also received praise from American Songwriter for their “full-bodied sound derived only from the interworkings of a true band.”
Ghost Hounds are a rock ‘n’ blues band hailing from Pittsburgh, PA. The band’s classic rock ‘n’ roll guitar tunes are the result of both Thomas Tull and Brooklyn native guitarist Johnny Baab, while the driving forces on bass and drums are Bennett Miller and Blaise Lanzetta, respectively.
Fronted by lead singer Tré Nation, whose voice was simply made for rock, Ghost Hounds are a modern day rock band that plays blues inspired rock in such a way that proves that the genre is not only alive but thriving for the next generation of rock fans.
Ghost Hounds have released three studio albums to date. Their debut album Roses Are Black released in 2019 and generated millions of streams and received acclaim from Billboard, American Songwriter, and many more. In 2021 the band released their sophomore album, A Little Calamity, showcasing the band’s classic rock chops, that included the infectious track and hit single, “Good Old Days.” Soon after A Little Calamity came the band’s 2022 album, You Broke Me, a perfect testimony to Ghost Hounds’s ability to blend classic blues rock with modern influences.
With the band’s chemistry more alive than ever, we can expect plenty of blues-rock brilliance from Ghost Hounds to come!
