Rival Sons, Too Bad (acoustic) Rock and Blues Muse

Rival Sons released their official audio track “Too Bad” (Acoustic) Live from the Haybale Studio at The Bonnaroo Music Festival. It was premiered on Rolling Stone.

And it’s a rootsy, stripped down  version of the Feral Roots rocking song. Rival Sons performed at Bonnaroo June of 2019 and recorded at the festival’s Haybale Studio. It’s a haunting rendition with acoustic guitar (Scott Holiday.)

Jay Buchanan’s vocals are scorching and so soulful, I’d be surprised if they don’t move you like they did me. Talk about digging deep.

Described as Rock n’ Roll with groove, soul and swagger, Rival Sons continue to blow away fans. They are one of the hottest rock bands around and celebrate their tenth anniversary as a recording and touring band. Feral Roots is their sixth album and was produced by Dave Cobb. From Long Beach, CA Rival Sons is made up of guitarist Scott Holiday, vocalist Jay Buchanan, drummer Michael Miley, keyboardist Todd Ogren and bassist David Best. They continue to carve their own path in modern rock.
