New Album Features Rachel Price (Lake Street Drive) Sarah Jarosz, Michael Anne and Alison Brown
Known for their stellar musicianship and effortless close harmonies, identical twins The Brother Brothers, Adam and David Moss, have announced winter tour dates (scroll down for a complete list). Along with select East Coast dates in December, including an NPR Mountain Stage show on December 18, the duo will hit the Midwest in January.
The brothers are currently working on a follow-up to Cover to Cover, an acclaimed collection that found the Mosses putting their own spin on some of their favorite artists. The album was widely praised, with the Associated Press admiring their “crystalline vocal blend” and American Songwriter writing that “the two convey their covers with such reverence and regard that they exude a charm all their own.”
The Moss brothers deliver a deep and delicate reading of James Taylor’s hymn-like “You Can Close Your Eyes.” They give it their own gentle folk/rock touch that’s expanded by a top-tier band and atmospheric arrangement. Special guest Sarah Jarosz contributes her own layer of beauty to the vocal harmonies that glide on top of the track’s lush instrumentation. The song can be taken as a lullaby or a farewell and The Brother Brothers play on that ambiguous tension in a way that will crack your heart wide open.

Adam and Davis Moss are identical twins were born and raised in Peoria, Illinois and originally based in Brooklyn, but have been ultimately and profoundly shaped by indiscriminate rambling. They are the kind of people who have a story about everything, and more, so, one you might genuinely like to hear. The duo turned head with their Tugboat EP, followed by Some People I Know (2018), and Calla Lily (2021), which garnered praise from tastemakers including NPR, Billboard and Rolling Stone Country.
Cover to Cover is their 3rd full-length album, inspired by an inward reflection of the roots of their inspiration during a time of great uncertainty and creative insecurity. The Brother Brothers sing from the heart, no matter whose words they’re using.
Just for the holidays check out their live video for their song “Red and Gold.”
The Brother Brothers’ luminous touring career spans international headlining, support runs with the likes of I’m With Her, Big Thief, Lake Street Dive, and Shakey Graves, as well as key plays at NPR’s Mountain Stage, FreshGrass Festival, Folk Alliance, Woodford Folk, Nelsonville Music Festival, and Edmonton Folk, among others.
While the Brothers have grown into a favorite on streaming services and playlists, their live shows seal the deal, showcasing the duo’s haunting, string-driven indie folk songs and the brothers’ hilariously dry, deadpan banter.
