Blues-rock duo When Rivers Meet release their first Christmas single “Christmas Is Here” to celebrate the announcement of their Spring 2023 UK tour with guest Arielle.
“Christmas Is Here” is an upbeat blues rock Christmas song, featuring Grace Bond’s distinctive, powerhouse vocals and mandolin solo overlaying Aaron Bond’s gritty guitar riff and harmonizing vocals.
Their second original single is the heart-warming, “It’s the Time of Year” harks back to gathering around the piano, giving the perfect platform for Grace to display her ability to switch from rock to ballad flawlessly with Aaron’s vocal harmony perfectly melding in choruses. Written by Grace and Aaron Bond and produced by Adam Bowers, the band includes Grace bond (vocals, mandolin, fiddle), Aaron Bond (vocals, guitar), Roger Inniss (bass, musical director), James Fox (drums, keys)

In 2021, When Rivers Meet were the first band to win four UK Blues Awards including Blues Band of the Year, Blues Album of the Year (We Fly Free), Emerging Blues Artist of the Year, and Most Inspirational Online Performance of the Year. WRM also won Best New Band at Planet Rock’s awards The Rocks.
In May 2022, WRM won three more UK Blues Awards including Blues Album of the Year (Saving Grace), Blues Band of the Year, and Blues Vocalist of the Year (Grace Bond). WRM won Album of the Year (Saving Grace) at Planet Rock’s awards The Rocks 2022, beating Iron Maiden who came in second place. WRM also won the Blues Power Award at Planet Rock’s “The Rocks 2022.”

Discovered in 2010 by Extreme’s guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, she signed with an American indie record label called ‘Open E’. In the years that followed, she made a name for herself touring throughout North America and the UK, opening, and playing with Heart, Joan Jett, Graham Nash, Country Joe McDonald, Joe Bonamassa, Guns N’ Roses, members of Deep Purple, Billy Ray Cyrus, Eric Johnson, Gregg Allman, Keith Urban and Cee Lo Green, which included a main stage slot at Coachella.
At the age of 18, Arielle was handpicked by guitarist Brian May for a key role in the London-based musical “We Will Rock You” – a production based on the songs of his band Queen. From the cover of Guitar Player Magazine, to being recognized by country superstar Vince Gill as one of the ‘Top 5 Best New Guitarists,’ to being cast as a guitar player on the hit TV show Nashville, to ascending to No. 3 on the CMT Pure chart with the song “California,” as well as being featured on vocals and guitar on the new Joe Bonamassa documentary “Guitar Man” with the credit track. She has released 9 albums/EP’s.
