Bonham-Bullick
Deborah Bonham and Peter Bullick turn up the heat on their new self-titled album. Deborah Bonham (sister of the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham and guitarist Peter Bullick make an explosive team along with their outstanding band. Their new album is out April 22 via Quarto Valley Records. The album features special guests John Baggott (Robert Plant, Portishead), Paul Brown (The Waterboys, Ann Peables, Bobby Rush,) John Hogg (Magpie Salute, Moke), Marco Giovino (Robert Plant, John Cale) and more. Produced by Bonham, the album features music from Bernard Fowler (Rolling Stones), O.V Wright, Johnnie Taylor, Albert King and more.

Ghost Hounds
Blues/rock powerhouse band Ghost Hounds are about to release their new album, You Broke Me on May 13th via Maple House Records. Written and produced by guitarist Thomas Tull and songwriter/producer Kevin Bowe (Etta James, Paul Westerberg and the Replacements), the 9-track album is raw yet polished with a live-off-the-floor feel. The group uses driving guitars, sparkling piano, dirty harp, singer Tre’ Nation leads the way with his diving vocals. In September 2021, Ghost Hounds released their sophomore album, A Little Calamity, which they played on a 7-night-run last fall with The Rolling Stones. Throughout the year, they opened for Bob Seger on his final tour and the Rolling Stones at FedEx Field in Washington D.C. Their 2019 full-length debut, Roses are Black received critical acclaim from Billboard, Rolling Stone and more.

Timothy B. Schmit (the Eagles)
Timothy B. Schmit is about to release his seventh solo album, Day By Day out May 6th, his first since Leap of Faith (2016). In between touring with the Eagles, Schmit found inspiration and time to create 12 songs featuring Jackson Browne, Lindsey Buckingham, John Fogerty, Benmont Tench, Jim Keltner, John McFee and Kenny Wayne Sheppard. A highly talented songwriter, soulful singer, multi-instrumentalist, Schmit has an affinity for timeless melodies and beautiful harmonies.

Joanne Shaw Taylor
Blues/rock vocalist, guitarist, songwriter Joanne Shaw Taylor is set to release her new live album, Blues From the Heart Live out June 10, 2022. This outstanding vocalist and guitar player is racking up the critical acclaim and it’s well deserved. The live album was recorded and filmed at The Franklin Theater, TN, and features guest performances from Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Mike Farris and Joe Bonamassa. Her first live performance in two years because of the pandemic shutdown, the record is produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith.

Platinum-selling powerhouse vocalist is set to release Bitches Blues on June 3rd via Stony Plain Records. Multi-award-winner Sass Jordan rocks the blues with her soulful, gritty voice. Her band, the Champagne Hookers includes guitar players Jimmy Reid and Chris Cadell, drummer Cass Pereira, keyboardist Jesse O’Brien and Steve Mariner on bass and harmonica. Sass has worked alongside fellow greats like Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones, AC/DC and Van Halen and more. Listen up!

Supersonic Blues Machine
Supergroup, Supersonic Blues Machine is set to release their newest album Voodoo Nation out June 24th on Provogue/Mascot Label Group. The album features an all-star cast including Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke), Eric Gales, Joe Louis Walker, Ana Popovic, Kirk Fletcher, King Solomon Hicks, Josh Smith, and Sonny Landreth. The core band is made up of Fabrizio Grossi (bass), Kenny Aronoff (drums), and Kris Barras (lead vocals, guitar.) Now, if that isn’t enough to incite you to listen to this new single, I don’t know what is. And it’s a killer song.

Altered Five Blues Band
Award-winners, The Altered Five Blues Band is a barn-burning outfit from Milwaukee, Wisconsin that puts down a roots-rocking sound with the lumens required to light up any crowd within earshot. Their brand new single “Great Minds Drink Alike” is produced by Grammy Winner Tom Hambridge and will be the first track on the band’s first-ever vinyl album to be released later this year. The song won first place in the blues category at the International Songwriting Competition in 2020. The band includes Jeff Taylor (vocals), Jeff Schroedl (guitar) Mark Solveson (bass) Alan Arber (drums) Raymond Tevich (organ) Max Abrams (saxophone) and Julio Diaz (trumpet).

Marcus King
Grammy nominee Marcus King is set to release his new solo album Young Blood on August 26th, produced by Dan Auerbach, out on Rick Rubin’s American Records/Republic Records. This phenominal singer, songwriter, guitar player is drawing on his swaggering rock and soul influences with this release. Young Blood is about looking in the rear view mirror at hard times, King’s personal challenges behind him. Recorded at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio, the acclaimed musicians on the album include Chris St. Hilaire and Nick Movshon on bass.

Kenny Neal
Louisiana blues icon Kenny Neal is releasing his newest album, Straight From The Heart on May 20th via Ruf Records. Neal takes his outstanding guitar and soulful vocals back to Baton Rouge with music steeped in swamp blues and featuring Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, Tito Jackson and Rockin’ Dopsie Junior & The Zydego Twisters. The Grammy nominated blues master gathered a crack team of local musicians at his own Brookstown Recording Studios. This is going to be good.

Modern rock & roll band Crobot is set to release their new studio album Feel This out June 3rd via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group. The elite rock band goes hard on riffs, grooves and vocals on the new single. Crobot’s upcoming release is the follow-up to Motherbrain (2019), whose cumulative streams surpassed 30 million.
