Soulful, grooving, thought-provoking blues rockers, Xander and the Peace Pirates release the title track of their eagerly anticipated new 10-track album ‘Order Out of Chaos’ that’s already been wowing reviewers and earning airplay and praise (due for release on 6th May and available for pre-order).
Classic Rock called the band’s previous single ‘We Cry’ “…a lush, beautifully moody swirl of bluesy soul, with a cascade of Fleetwood Mac fairydust. 70s sounds applied to contemporary sentiments,” and award the band winners of Louder Tracks of the Week.
Listen to “Order Out Of Chaos”
Like ‘We Cry’, ‘Order Out of Chaos’ has a wonderful, musical allure that’s woven with smart, sincere, meaningful lyrics.
Xander and the Peace Pirates explains, “’Order Out of Chaos’ tries to show that we give our collective power away to false beliefs. One — often strongly held — delusion is that those in power have real power and control over anyone. They don’t, but thanks to that conviction we still give our power away.
“This song is about how many in positions of power will wield that ‘power’ to manipulate the masses, merely to serve their own personal agendas — not the whole. All such agendas are born out of a need to become more and have more: false needs and hungers that are never fulfilled.”
Opening with a strong guitar hook, and Xander’s lead vocals soar and the infectious melody will get your foot tapping. You won’t be able to turn away from the band’s conviction, moving lyrics and virtuosic music chops in the chorus.

After Xander and the Peace Pirates’ 5-year tenure as the resident band at Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club, the band went on to support the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, The Temperance Movement, ex-Whitesnake’s Bernie Marsden and even Bon Jovi at Old Trafford Stadium to name but a few. This is most remarkable as, defying all expectations, lead singer and guitarist Keith Xander was born without a right arm below the elbow and plays his guitar using a prosthesis and hook with a pick attached at the end. Although many who have seen Keith play believe him to be an extraordinary guitarist, he is a virtuoso musician with a unique guitar technique and his playing rivals the best in the industry. This much was proven as 2016 saw the band release their debut album, titled ‘11:11’, on V2 Benelux Records, recorded at the world-famous Wisseloord studios in Hilversum, outside of Amsterdam. The album went on to receive critical acclaim from the likes of Classic Rock, Planet Rock Radio and from BBC Radio legend Bob Harris.
With haunting riffs, genius melodies and a uniquely infectious charisma, Xander And The Peace Pirates continue to share their musical passion to standing ovations, while spreading a universal message of peace, love and harmony. There is a whistle down the wind genius at play in the music that the band create especially with Keith Xander’s singular guitar styling that evokes the otherworldly musicianship of Hendrix and his ilk that must be heard and seen to be believed!
