Carlos Santana Releases “Yo Estare” Featuring Ally Brooke
Today, music legend and guitar master Carlos Santana releases the single “Yo Estare,” featuring Ally Brooke, from his star-studded masterpiece Blessings and Miracles. The song can be streamed on all platforms and is available on the Blessings and Miracles vinyl edition, out now via BMG.
Written by hitmaking chart-topper Diane Warren and Claudia Brant, “Yo Estare” is the Spanish version of the song “Break,” an aching and poignant ballad that features the spellbinding vocals of former Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke. Here, she duets with Santana band member Andy Vargas alongside Santana’s deeply poignant guitar lines – melodies that swoon and sigh to dizzying effect, with a crescendo to a solo full of chilling trills and bracing chordal passages.
With Blessings and Miracles, Santana delivers one of the most ambitious, inspired, and magical records of his storied career, which “finds the guitar hero once again celebrating the spirit of collaboration” (Forbes). There are genre-bending, hook-filled celebrations featuring Rob Thomas, Chris Stapleton, G-Eazy, and American Authors, thrilling feats of bravura musicianship that pair the guitar master with fellow icons like Chick Corea and Steve Winwood, and knockout rockers with Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and Living Colour’s Corey Glover, among others.
