Yes, and yes!! Love your selections! Listen to many of these artists on a regular basis. Ready to sample more that you’ve recently exposed to me. Thank you!
You forgot Tedeschi Trucks Band
No did not forget Tedeschi Trucks. You didn’t see our other recent lists with this wonderful band in them. Plus the article specifically states new music.
Govt mule should be at the top of your list
Todd,
You didn’t see our other recent list? here you go https://www.rockandbluesmuse.com/2021/09/30/10-new-modern-blues-rock-and-rock-roll-songs-you-must-hear-fall-2021/ Gov’t Mule is in it. We think as highly of them as you do.
I was familiar with most of these players but not J.T. Loux. After streaming his release—good player, pretty good songs but he needs to let someone else do the singing. His voice is the weakest part of the mix.
It’s hard to blame anyone for wanting to be the frontman, but so many players limit their audience with this same avoidable mistake.
Plush is a rock tsunami!! Incredible talent from left to right on their stage. Each song is a story, with great melodies, hooks, choruses, and soaring vocals. Real deal Rockers.
You’re absolutely right about all of that. Michael Sweet (Stryper) told me about Moriah and I’ve followed her career ever since. PLUSH is skyrocketing and those talented girls deserve all of it. They’ll be household names soon.
Impressive list of highly skilled artists; each with a unique style. I’ve heard and admired most of these on the Rock and Blues Muse Group site which always offers new and wonderful artists such as those on this list!
Thanks for all the tips!! Would love to see Kingfish live. Tinsley Ellis my favorite blues rocker with Albert Castiglia and Mike Zito!
I’m Glad to see The Headhunters are still Rocking as much as ever. I had the Pleasure of working with them a few years back and they made me feel like part of the Family.
Curious why you didn’t include: The Immediate Family. Pretty much a super group with incredible, well seasoned talent and a new first record out .
Rick
Because they were in several of our recent lists. Love The Immediate Family.

These are installments with new music. If you go to our other lists, you’ll see Joanne Shaw Taylor, Larkin Poe and many others. Go to the search bar and type in 75 Modern Blues Rock artists.
I’ll add to this list T following bands you can look up on Spotify
Shaw Davis and the Black Ties. This Pompano Florida Blues band just released their latest studio album, Red Sun Rebellion
Mason Pace Band. This South Florida Rock Band has been creating quite a local buzz with their latest release and high energy shows.
Roxx Revolt and The Velvets. This Florida west coast Punk band defies the norms but delivers high energy original stuff!!
