Singer/songwriter Juliana Riccardi exhibits a quiet brilliance on her new song and video “Full Cup” from her sophomore EP, Full Cup out October 8, 2021. The track delivers the important message that our cups are full to the top most of the time and we need to better recognize it. Riccardi puts it all down over a hyper-chilled New Orleans-style ballad feel that helps emphasize the honesty in her words and the beauty of her voice. The video feels very personal and lets us all meet Juliana up close. Her vibe is incredibly engaging and each new bar will make you want to hear more. “Full Cup” is a softly-spoken gem from an artist you should be listening to already.
Juliana’s soulful, beautiful vocals over a blend of trumpets, acoustic guitar, pedal steel and soft drums, highlight her reflections on moments in her life that celebrate the different facets of who she is: grounded, honest, and confident. The video was directed and edited by Allison Baruck (Béyonce, Leon Bridges, H.E.R.) and mixed by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Darrell Thorp (Beck, Radiohead, Switchfoot).
Juliana says, “The inspiration behind the ‘Full Cup’ video was to keep it real—using locations people true to my everyday life, all of whom make my life full.” She adds, “After a really rough spring this year, I booked a camping trip with my girlfriends who are incredibly talented artists and creatively liked-minded and we brainstormed on ideas. Ultimately, I wanted the narrative of the video to be simple. Something that was warm, inviting, and full of love for the self, for family and friends, and for the sun on my face. It all felt right and I loved being able to create with my friends who I love and respect so much.”

It’s my style. And I’m proud of that. I’m proud of this record being a heightened version of myself.”
