As 2019 draws to a close, Rock and Blues Muse looks back on some of our favorite blues, rock and roots artist interviews of the year. We have had the privilege of talking with some of the interesting and celebrated artists.
I believe our interviews go a little deeper into conversation with these artists so you get a window into who they are as human beings and how they became so successful. Some are very funny, some are deep with insight and vulnerability, and others are just plain interesting because of the who these artists are as people.
We chose our interviews with Keb’ Mo’, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ana Popovic, John Mayall, and Nick Moss.
Kick back and read our interviews of these fascinating musicians.
Happy Holidays to all of you. Thank you for all your support of Rock and Blues Muse. We wish you the best this holiday season and in the new year.

Nobody Told Me is a great album in a long line of high quality releases. The guitar guests rock with a rythm section that is a dream to solo with, while adding their own unique flavours to yet another banquet of blues. Really looking forward to the next release, though I’m sure it will not be “Son of Nobody Told Me”. John Mayall doesn’t do repetition except for always bringing inspired improvisation to the proceedings. Going to the Adelaide show in April and the opportunity to hear more of this latest edition of John Mayall’s band will be a highlight of the year!
