Jesse Dayton Hits the Road with ‘Road To Redemption’ Tour with guests Mike Stinson and Ghalia Volt

Grammy-nominated Outlaw Country icon Jesse Dayton is primed for an East Coast tour supporting his latest album, Hard Way Blues. The tour kicks off on September 11 in Pawling, NY, and will wind its way to Bonita Springs, FL, by October 5. Dayton, renowned for his high-octane live shows and distinctive blend of raw country and blues, will bring his acclaimed new album to life with a series of unforgettable performances.

Produced by Grammy-winner Shooter Jennings, Hard Way Blues debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart, earning rave reviews from Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, and No Depression. Known for his work with Brandi Carlile and Tanya Tucker, Jennings helped Dayton craft a bold new sound that fuses his outlaw country roots with a blues-infused edge. “This album represents a turning point for me, embracing a bigger sound that reflects where I’m at now,” Dayton says.

In Dayton’s previous project, he collaborated with award-winning singer/songwriter and guitar powerhouse Samantha Fish to record the 2023 collaborative album Death Wish Blues. The Grammy-nominated record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart and remained there for three consecutive weeks, marking Jesse Dayton’s first chart-topping album on the Blues Chart.

Joining Dayton for the East Coast dates are Mike Stinson, celebrated for his heartfelt songwriting and soulful performances, and Ghalia Volt, a rising blues-rock star from Belgium now based in New Orleans. Volt’s unique trio, featuring keyboard bass, brings a fresh, transatlantic edge to her performances. Recently spotlighted on *60 Minutes* “State of the Blues,” Volt is rapidly gaining acclaim in the contemporary blues scene.

“I’m thrilled to share Hard Way Blues with our fans and to hit the road with Mike and Ghalia,” Dayton adds. “Their incredible talent makes this tour even more special. Come early!”

Dayton and his band will join Louisiana blues legend Tab Benoit as the opener on Benoit’s ‘I Hear Thunder’ tour this December. Benoit, known for his fiery guitar work and soulful vocals, is set to release his first new album in 13 years on August 30. Dayton’s role as the opening act on Benoit’s tour promises to be the year’s highlight for blues and guitar fans.

“Tab’s new album is amazing, and it’s an honor to be part of his tour,” Dayton notes. “The band and I are excited to open for him and will bring down the house every night.”

With a career spanning over three decades, Dayton has collaborated with legends like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Rob Zombie, and his music has been featured in numerous films and TV shows. Known for his riveting live performances, Dayton continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic presence and authentic sound.
